Tennis Players Enjoyed
Football Friendly Match |
To celebrate upcoming Lao New Year and
50th Anniversary of Lao Youth Union,
tennis players at Vientiane Tennis Club
tggether put their football gears on
instead of tennis shoes, and went for a
friendly match at 4:00 on Saturday 9 th
April at the National Stadium, where is
actually next to the club. Despite
boiling weather of April and sunny heat,
more than 30 tennis players participated
in this friendly game and some friends
or fans also cheered on the benches.
Surprisingly, more than 15 goals were
scored and no one seemed to remember,
"Who actually shot them". Both sides
happily shared those goals and the
sheering fans also enjoyed watching this
exciting game. At the end, all of tennis
players or 'footballers' were exhausted,
muscle painful, and thirsty but everyone
realized a core meaning fo this behind
it is 'friendship' -getting to know each
other much more in-off the tennis court,
understanding individual physical
strength or skill, and illustrating
mutual collaboration. After the football
game at the National Stadium, the tennis
players walked back to the Club and one
last event that they couldn't ignore was
'Beer Lao' drinking session. There were
two grilled pigs and some combinations
prepared by the wonderful club's
restaurant. Everyone just rushed to grab
a plate, spoon and of course a glass for
nice smooth cool Lao beer. All members
made a toss and appreciated each other,
and finally promised to have such a
wonderful game like this again soonest.

ອາກາດຈະຮ້ອນປານໃດກໍ່ຕາມ,
ມີນັກກິລາຫລາຍກວ່າ 30 ຄົນ ເຂົ້າຮ່ວມເຕະບານ
ແລະ ຍັງມີກອງເຊຍ
ສົ່ງສຽງຢູ່ຂ້າງສະຫນາມພ້ອມ,
ຫນ້າແປກໃຈທີ່ສຸດ
ຍ້ອນມີປະຕູເກີດຂື້ນຫລາຍກວ່າ 15
ປະຕູ ແລະບໍ່ມີຈື່ໄດ້
ວ່າ: "ໃຜເປັນຄົນຍິງເຂົ້າແດ່"
ນັກເຕະບານທັງຫມົດດີໃຈກັບບັນດາປະຕູທີ່ຍິງໄດ້
ແລະກອງເຊຍເອງກໍ່ປະທັບ
ໃຈກັບແກມແຂ່ງຂັນທີ່ຕື່ນເຕັ້ນນີ້,
ໃນຕອນທ້າຍ
ນັກກິລາເບິ່ງເມື່ອຍຫລາຍ,
ປວດຕາມກ້າມຊີ້ນ ແລະກໍ່ຫິວນ້ຳ ແຕ່ທຸກຄົນກໍ່ເຂົ້າໃຈເຖິງຄວາມຫມາຍສຳຄັນຂອງເກມນີ້ດີ.
